Kildale Estate

The stunning Kildale Estate is well positioned on the northwestern edge of the North York Moors National Park. This Estate is fortunate enough to boast both a wonderful grouse moor and a stunning low ground shoot offering keen teams all they could wish for in one place. The Estate has been in the custodianship of the same family for decades and this undoubtedly assists with providing a very relaxed and family feel to each day shot on the Estate.

SHOOTING

The Estate’s low-ground shoot offers teams a great range of shooting in a number of different settings. Not only does the Estate benefit from some tight-sided gorges, it also has some wonderful more open drives where guns can enjoy watching the game expertly driven from high points. Shooting on the Estate runs from November through to the end of the season with larger 350 bird days being shot early season with this tapering to some lovely smaller 150 bird days in late January. Not only does the Estate have great shooting, it also offers teams wonderful hospitality in the shoot room. The shoot room is situated in a stunning stone building just off the main house and provides the ideal area. The large log burner, stunning table and soft seating offers the most comfortable place to reflect on the wonderful shooting.
