Ugbrooke Park

Ugbrooke is recognised as one of Devon’s most scenic shoots, benefiting from beautiful parkland with steep valleys, woodland copses, and undulating hills. Ugbrooke Park is situated just 15 minutes from central Exeter and just a short five minute drive off the M5, making it easily accessible.

The shoot beautifully presents a range of game with curling pheasants, fast partridges and climbing duck being offered throughout the day to ensure that there is challenging shooting for all guns.

The hospitality at Ugbrooke is second to none and often provided in the wonderfully restored main house, which has evolved and grown from a ‘small manor house’ in the Domesday Book, through a fascinating history. Accommodation in the main house is available for Shoot Teams and can include all food, drinks and full butler service.

The typical format of the day consists of breakfast and coffee during the briefing from the shoot captain, with guns then moving off together for the first two drives. Elevenses are taken in the field and often comprises a delicious hot soup, Tina’s famous sausage rolls and champagne, sloe gin and cherry brandy. The late morning drives are then shot before lunch is taken, with a final drive or two to conclude the day.

If shooting at Ugbrooke Park is of interest, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team via the enquire button and they will be delighted to assist.
