Pennyholme Estate

Pennyholme Estate is located on the edge of the North York Moors National Park a short distance from the renowned shooting town of Helmsley. The Estate boasts a wide variety of drives, from the edge of moorland drives such as “Jacks”, “Hodge Beck” and “Waterfall” providing superb partridge and pheasant flicking over the deep valleys and gills to high curling pheasants beautifully presented over the estate’s ancient woodlands at drives including the infamous “Garden’s” drive. No matter which drive you are lucky enough to stand on, the shooting is of consistently high quality throughout the day.

All teams shooting at Pennyholme are looked after with exceptional attention to detail; with teams enjoying elevenses served in the field by the estate’s in-house chef, as well as delicious lunches using the most local of ingredients. Impressive game dishes will be cooked by the fantastic Salvatore, the estate’s private chef. With years of Michelin star training, you will not be disappointed. The Estate’s location, within easy reach of Helmsley, also makes is very accessible. Those shooting on the Estate have plentiful options for accommodation, both in hotels and private lodges, all of which are within easy reach of the Estate.
