Hexton Manor Estate

Situated at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, only 40 miles from London, Hexton is regarded as perhaps the finest high bird pheasant shoot in the Northern Home Counties and always surprises people the first time they visit. The estate is a very well-kept secret and few people know of the deep valleys and wooded banks planted at the start of the 20^th century. The Hexton topography is more in keeping with Wales or the West Country than Hertfordshire, and the Estate therefore has the ability to present birds throughout the day to test the very best of shots.

The Estate has the ability to shoot back to back days if desired and we would recommend a maximum of eight Guns per day, as the deep valleys allow little scope for Back Guns. Lunch is taken in the main house, Hexton Manor and the shoot prides itself on its hospitality, with all teams being superbly looked after from the moment the arrive. If challenging shooting close to London is of interest, Hexton should certainly be top of the list.
