The William Powell Gunroom recently attended the World Gunmakers
Evening at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Knightsbridge, London on Thursday 9th May 2019.
The event was organised by Guns-on-pegs and held at Knightsbridge’s luxurious hotel the Jumeriah Carlton. It was the perfect setting for the prestigious event, with over 30 of the world’s leading gunmakers displaying their finest offerings in one room.
Attendees had the opportunity to view many different styles of engraving, actions and woodwork. We were lucky enough to see London’s own best guns being completed by four of the biggest names; Holland and Holland, Purdey, Rigby and Watson Bros were all showcasing different skills with their prestigious master craftsmen.
It was fantastic event and a great opportunity to showcase our full range of guns. We had on display the eagerly awaited Prestige shotgun. The Prestige has been specifically designed for shooting high birds. It simply is the best bespoke high bird gun on the market today, the design of the gun has been produced on the style of a Boss action, with a removable trigger unit. The Prestige can be built completely custom to your measurements at no extra cost and it is supplied in a lovely leather covered ABS case.
