The French Partridge was introduced to the UK in 1770 from continental Europe and has since become one of the most popular game birds in the UK. The partridge is an incredibly enjoyable and often challenging quarry to shoot due to its impressive agility and relatively small size. Partridge inhabit the cover crops, arable field, and hedgerows of shoots across the UK and are often shot alongside pheasants making for the most desirable variation during days shooting.
