Recently the shoot has been transformed and whilst not a high bird shoot, is capable of showing testing Pheasants in a stunning setting. It really has to be seen (and shot) to be appreciated what a wonderful sporting experiences the Castle Howard shoot provides.
Unlike almost any other shoot, Castle Howard has a number of ancient monuments which form a back drop to this already stunning and unique landscape. We can happily accommodate 8 or 9 guns, without the line feeling too tight.
